1. A foundation program is a structured one-year course that aims to develop the skills and knowledge required for degree study. Foundation programs are sometimes called a “gateway” or “year-zero” program. Courses focus on academic skills and the subject-specific knowledge you may need for your chosen degree course.

Foundation courses are for those who just completed their WAEC. It serves as a bridge between secondary school and University.

2. TOP UP PROGRAMS
This is for students who graduate with a 3rd class degree from a university and HND holders.
It is a nine-month course. It leads to a UK degree

3. UNDERGRADUATE COURSES
This could be between 3-5 years depending on the school, course, and country of study.

4. PRE-MASTERS: 

A pre-master course is for international students who fail to meet the entry requirements of the educational institutions of their choice. Yet, you need to meet certain requirements to enter a pre-master’s course as well. While the entry requirements may vary from one institution to another, some common things that you might find in the entrance criteria of the pre-masters course in the UK are as follows: A recognized higher-level diploma related to your field of interest A recognized undergraduate degree in your field of interest An honour degree in any subject A minimum IELTS band of 5.5 or equivalent score for a two-term pre-master’s and a minimum IELTS band of 5.0 or equivalent for a three-term pre-master’s. 

 5. MASTERS:

This could be between 12 months – 24 months. Depending on the school, course, and country of study. Entry Requirements: GRE, Transcript, a copy of Undergraduate Project, WAEC result, CV, International Passport, Statement of Purpose SOP, English Proficiency Test, Research Proposal, Academic references This can also be a taught program or a Research Master 

 6. PHD

This could be between 3-5 years depending on the school, course, and country of study. Entry Requirements: Undergraduate and Graduate Transcript, Certificate, dissertations, CV, International Passport, Statement of Purpose SOP, English Proficiency Test, PhD Research Proposal.
